The name of the project is Randomajestiq, and the guy behind it, Vladimir Hropov, lives in Gomel, Belarus. This is one of the biggest cities in the country, but still, the nearest person who makes music on not-amateur level can be found only in the capital.

The tracks by Randomajestiq appeared almost on all IDM and ambient labels from the former USSR and are available on countless internet labels all over the world in mp3 and ogg-vorbis formats. The style... How can one limit to one style if he has been producing music for over a decade? Randomajestiq has almost all types of not-mainstream electronic music covered, and the latest tracks can be filed under deep-house and techno. And we should not forget the new songs made with guest vocalist from Barcelona and the latest thing on Vladimirs mind, another project, under Psyphonix moniker, which produces drumnbass and breaks.

The only way to hear him live for now was to visit Minsk, the capital of the country, when he came there to play at The System Of Electronic Madness festivals, or that PlugnPlay event, where he shared the PA with EU and Klutch, which are (if not the best) the most well-known electronic projects from Russia. I doubt whether it is useful to list his releases, because by the time you would be reading this text, he would sure have another track on a compilation somewhere. And I'm really proud to write this, because when it comes to quality music from my country, Randomajestiq is the name.
